Punk Rock Show
Friday, 7 May 2004

Faster Radio, No Catch and It's All About the Chocolate Chip Cookies will be hosting one of the first punk/hardcore shows to be held at UMass Lowell on a Friday in a long time. Enrique (host of "It's All About the Chocolate Chip Cookies") and Ditch (host of "Faster Radio, No Catch") discussed how it would be much easier to get students together along with people from off campus if they could book a show on a friday night, and decided to get together and put on a show presented by both of their radio shows in order to promote a punk and hardcore community on campus. We hope to see familiar faces, along with some kids who we may not know that well, and with a little work we'll be able to become a much more solid force around UMASS Lowell.

Bands:
Say Goodbye, Bones Brigade,
Have Heart, HTD, Hammer Bros,
Youth Liberation Front, Los Bungalitos

Monday, 19 April 2004

WHAT: ANNUAL WUML PATRIOT'S DAY COOKOUT
WHEN: Monday, 19 April 2004, 3pm
WHERE: In Front of the Station
WHY: Because the Alums used to do it, so we're gonna try reviving it. And dammit, it's gonna be fun. Additionally, cookouts in general rule and are great.

We're bringing the grill, and we know you have the day off.
So be there, be square, and bring some food.
So far, there's gonna be music, veggie burgers, veggie dogs, meat burgers, and meat dogs, plus marinated portobellas, homemade potato and egg salads, and possibly some corn.
If Gretchen shows up, there will also be frisbee.
But bring more of whatever you got, cos there might not be enough to go around.
If you have an extra grill, that's cool too -- cos ours is small.

EVERYONE IS INVITED.
WOOOOO.
